Who's that girl? Nicole Kidman is almost unrecognisable with a bleached blonde hairdo on the set of new movie The Paperboy in New Orleans yesterday


She's famous for her fiery red hair and being one of the most beautiful actresses of her generation - but Nicole Kidman has shown her dedication to her art by getting a new bleached blonde hair do for a new role.

The 44-year-old showed off her startlingly different look on the set of new movie The Paperboy in New Orleans, Louisiana, yesterday, coupling her almost white blonde hair with heavy kohl eyeliner.

Even if it's not her actual hair after a heavy attack of hydrogen peroxide, it looked incredibly convincing and the actress's transformation is quite incredible.

Oscar-winning actress Nicole, who landed the prestigious award for Best Actress in 2002's The Hours, was also wearing an equally startling bright green outfit with white piping that looked a bit like a waitress uniform.

The Paperboy is about a reporter and his brother who team up to attempt to exonerate a man sentenced to death.

Mother-of-four Nicole apparently replaced Sofia Vergara in the role in June and her character,Charlotte Bless, is said to be a woman with a dark side who writes letters to men on death row.

It also stars Zac Efron, Matthew McConaughey and British actor David Oyelowo - who can be seen in Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes - and is due out next year.

Meanwhile, Nicole's husband Keith Urban is facing police questioning after a photographer accused the country singer of attacking his car.

Urban and wife Nicole Kidman were leaving a restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee last Wednesday when snapper Willem Pieterson attempted to take pictures of the couple.

Pieterson alleges Urban became angry at him and 'kicked' his car door in retaliation.

Metropolitan Nashville Police Department told GossipCop.com that the photographer filed a police report over the alleged attack.

However, they added that police had looked at Pieterson's car door and found no damage.

A spokesman added: 'The incident report bears the classification of intimidation. Follow up is being conducted to sort out the detail of this matter.'

Nicole Kidman's daughter Faith shows off her bright red hair as actress arrives in Australia for family reunion

Mini me: Nicole Kidman's daughter Faith, who was born to a surrogate last December, showed off her red hair as they arrived in Australia


Nicole Kidman is arguably one of the most famous redheads in the world.

And it seems her daughter Faith it taking after her mother, as the five-month-old showed off her bright red hair yesterday while arriving in Australia for the first time.

Faith was carried by her famous mother as the family arrived at Sydney airport and were met by her sister Antonia with son Nicholas.


It was something of a family reunion for the Kidmans, as TV presenter Antonia now lives in Singapore while Nicole is based in Nashville with husband Keith Urban.

Nicole kept a firm grip on little Faith who, like Antonia's adorable son Nicholas, was born last December.

And Nicole also clutched eldest daughter Sunday as they arrived Down Under after a long flight from the U.S.

Urban was not on the trip, and Antonia's husband, banker Craig Marran was also absent.

It was clearly a time for these devoted siblings to catch up alone, and to enjoy the miracle of their latest children who were born so close together.

Antonia, home from Singapore, also brought the four children from her first marriage for the family reunion.

It is believed to be the first time all of the cousins have met six-month-old Faith who is on her first visit to Australia, according to the Herald Sun.

There is set to be a week of celebrations and family parties.

Nicole turned 44 last Monday and will celebrate her fifth wedding anniversary on Saturday. Meanwhile, it is also Sunday's third birthday on July 7.

Grandparents Anthony and Janelle Kidman also joined the group at Nicole's Milson's Point apartment.

Keith wore a Prada Black kid mohair two-button tuxedo with a silk faille notch lapel, white smoking popeline shirt, and a black silk faille bowtie.
