What a fashionable football player: Heidi Klum shows off her sporty side on a day trip to the park with her children

Ball control: Supermodel Heidi Klum got sporty with her children in a New York City park today.


Supermodel, reality TV host, mother-of-four, devoted wife, and now football player - there's nothing Heidi Klum can't do.

The beautiful blonde German channelled her inner Wayne Rooney as she kicked around a football with her children in park in New York City today.

Klum was with Leni, seven, Johan, five, and Henry, four, and two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Lou, as they had a family fun-day at the playground in the Tribeca area of Manhattan.


The world's coolest mother blew bubbles for her delighted children with a flower shaped wand and let her mini-me daughter Leni style her famous blonde hair.

Her rock star husband Seal wasn't present for the day trip but was spotted with his family earlier this week as they all ventured out in the rain.

Heidi said she wanted to spend more time with her children since he hung up her wings as a Victoria's Secret Angel in October last year.

Instead of supermodel, she's embracing the role of super mother as she logs in quality time with her brood, but don't expect them to expand again any time soon.

She told Mail Online: 'We are done now. I think four to look after is plenty. We aren’t like Angelina and Brad. Four is a good number.'

Heidi has just finished her hosting duties on Germany's Next Top Model and looks happy to be back in America with her family before she starts promoting the ninth season of Project Runway.

Still boasting a flawless figure at 38 despite four pregnancies, Klum dared to bare for an advertisement for the new season as she posed with a pair of scissors and a pink tie ribbon around her neck, with the words 'Make It Work' - a catchphrase of the show's co-host Tim Gunn - written on her arm.

The ninth season of the reality show, which pits aspiring fashion designers against one another, is set to debut in the U.S. on July 28.
This is definitely sexier than past campaigns we've done,' said German-born Klum.

This week it emerged that Kim Kardashian is rumoured to be a guest judge on the upcoming season.

Sitting pretty: Guest judge Kim Kardashian filmed scenes for fashion reality TV show Project Runway in New York's Battery Park


She already co-owns three clothing boutiques, is involved in several reality shows and endorses dozens of products.

And she's planning the wedding of the year to NBA star Kris Humphries.

But that didn't stop Kim Kardashian from adding another role to her resume as she filmed a guest spot on Lifetime's Project Runway yesterday.

The fashion and TV mogul joined Heidi Klum and fellow judges Nina Garcia and Michael Kors to shoot the upcoming episode in Battery Park, New York yesterday.

Kim, 30, chose a simple yet chic little black dress for the occasion which she paired with towering platform Christian Louboutin pumps.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian's star completed her look with a sleek ponytail and hoop earrings, not to mention her enormous engagement ring.

Klum, 38, also chose an all black ensemble which included an asymmetric belted black mini-dress and black stiletto booties but Heidi was a little less daring than Kim and opted to wear tights to keep her legs covered.

She also wore her hair pulled back in a slick up-do but added a splash of colour with a cerise pink lipstick.

The designers had an unusual challenge this week as they had to present their clothes with their models on huge stilts.

The ensembles were all very colourful and imaginative but it is not known yet who got the chop and who got to stay to compete for the $100,000 prize.

Kim, meanwhile, has been hitting the gym every day to make sure her body is as stunning as the 20.5 carat ring on her finger.

The reality star, who announced her engagement to NBA star Humphries last month, broadcast her wedding weight loss plan to her fans on Twitter earlier this week.

When asked by Us magazine in America what her fiancé Humphries' favourite body part was, Kim replied, 'Obviously my butt.'

Kim has talked openly about her body struggles telling Harper's Bazaar magazine in the U.S. that she constantly has to watch what she eats.

'I'm on a diet. I need to be. I love to eat - Kit Kats or cookies-and-cream ice cream. I need sugar like five times a day,' she revealed.

The new season of Project Runway is set to première on July 28th.

Who is Heidi Klum?

 

 Heidi Klum was born on June 1, 1973, in Bergisch Gladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Her career in modeling began thanks to her friend Karin. She persuaded Heidi in the winter of 1991 to enter a local modeling contest. Although Heidi won the contest in April of 1992, she passed up her first modeling job in order to finish high school first.After Heidi finished high school in June of 1992, she decided to pursue a career as a model. Before making it big anywhere, Heidi hired a lawyer, took out worldwide insurance on herself, and bought a phone that she could use to stay in touch with her parents.Klum began to learn the ropes in the modeling world in Hamburg, Germany. She then moved to Milan, followed by a move to Paris. In the summer of 1993, Heidi began working in Miami and by the fall of that year she moved up to New York City. By 1996, Heidi decided to secure a copyright on her name, just in case.Heidi's debut on the fashion runway was in 1997 for Victoria's Secret.  The father was Heidi's boyfriend at the time, Flavio Briatore, an Italian businessman. The relationship did not work out and Heidi began dating the British musician, Seal. The couple was married in May of 2005 on a beach in Mexico and their first son, Henry, was born in September of 2005. In June of 2006 they announced that they are expecting another child.Heidi began hosting her own TV show in December of 2004 called Project Runway. The series is a reality show where up and coming fashion designers compete for the chance to debut their line at New York Fashion Week. Heidi received Emmy nominations for the show in the first and second season. That following year she began hosting a series called Germany's Next Top Model, which was based on the show, America's Next Top Model, hosted by fellow Victoria's Secret model, Tyra Banks.Klum has proven herself to be an avid businesswoman and has come out with her own clothing lines, swimsuit lines, shoes, jewelry, and perfume.
