Second Generation BMW 6-Series Convertible coming to India

BMW are now planning to launch the second generation of the 6-Series in the Indian market. The already existing BMW 6-Series Convertible has been a very niche product in India and it is expected that this new BMW 6-Series might look lower and flatter than the previous model.

This new 2011 BMW 6-Series Convertible, a luxurious coupe in the D+ segment features a 4799cc, 6 Cylinder, 4 Valve diesel engine which develops a maximum power of about 367 Bhp @ 6300 rpm and a maximum torque of about 490 Nm @ 3400 rpm. This new 2011 BMW 6-Series Convertible, with a 6-Speed Manual Gear transmission is said to have a top-speed of around 250 kms.

This new 2011 BMW 6-Series Convertible features a Double Joint Tie-Bar spring strut axle Suspension in it. It also provides a Ventilated Brake at the front and a Disk Brake at the rear. This new luxurious coupe, 2011 BMW 6-Series Convertible is expected to be launched by this month itself and might have a price tag of around Rs 94 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).

The latest news to hear from the Indian automobile field is that one of the most luxurious car manufacturers, BMW are now all set to launch their new luxury sedan, BMW 8 Series in India. This new luxury sedan, which belongs to the D+ segment is expected to reach the Indian market by the early quarter of next year, ie 2012.

This new BMW 8 Series might feature either a 6 cylinder or a 8 cylinder engine with all new 8-speed transmission. The company might start the sale only with a Petrol engine, which will be later joined by it's Diesel variant. More details regarding the specifications as well as the features of this new BMW 8 Series is yet to get revealed by the officials.

This new luxury sedan in India, BMW 8 Series is expected to get priced around Rs 1,10,00,000/-.

BMW motors announced its all new 2011 6 Series Coupes. 2011 BMW 6 Series Vehicle will be the company's D+ Segment luxury coupe models coming next. As per the reports, the new 6-Serie2011 BMW cars will hit the industry by early 2011.The exepcted price of the 2011 BMW 6 Series Coupe is around Rs. 85,00,000 INR.
