Doting new mother Pink cradles sleeping baby Willow on girls' only day out

Mummy's girl: Pink took newborn daughter Willow for a day out in Malibu, California, yesterday


She only gave birth seven weeks ago but already Pink appears to be settling into motherhood.

The 31-year-old singer looked relaxed and comfortable as she cradled her sleepy newborn daughter Willow as the pair spent time in Malibu, California, yesterday.

Pink clutched the tiny tot to her chest and she nestled into her neck as she placed the baby into the back seat of their car.


Pink looked casual in a simple black maxi-dress with black flip-flops and Willow had been dressed in an adorable blue and red striped dress.

Willow was born on June 2 via Caesarean section.

'It all turned out perfectly in the end, even though it wasn’t what we intended, because she is healthy and happy and so am I,' the singer said at the time.

'We’ll go for our natural birth next time, for sure.'

Just this past weekend the Stupid Girls singer spent time exercising for the first time since the birth.

She joined in at a baseball game on Sunday, donning a glove and a pitcher's mask to play catcher in the friendly local game in Malibu, California.

In a message posted on her Twitter page last week, she wrote: 'Forgot what it felt like to sweat. #feelsgood.'

But exercising with a newborn is proving to be a little tricky for the star, who is married to motor-cross rider Carey Hart.

She wrote on Tuesday: 'Just tried 2do yoga class w/ a 6 wk old.even dressed her in buddha onesie thinking it'd keep her calm. wrong. so wrong. no dwnwrd dog 4 me:)'

Pink is clearly easing back into fitness after recovering from her C-section.

Meanwhile another new mother, Alanis Morrisette, was pictured out and about with her own baby today.

The singer strolled around Venice beach with her husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway and their son Ever.
