Newlyweds Kate Moss and Jamie Hince are officially husband and wife after tying the knot in the Costwolds this afternoon.

Following their wedding at a village church, the bride and groom happily posed outside with the supermodel's 15 bridesmaids, including her eight-year-old daughter Lila Grace.

The bride, 37, looked stunning in a vintage-style cream dress and matching floor-length veil, designed by close friend John Galliano.

The model showed off her slim figure in a cream bias-cut dress with sheer skirt with gold leaf embroidery and rhinestones.

Moss's choice of designer is somewhat of a reprieve to disgraced Galliano, who is currently on trial in Paris for allegedly making anti-Semitic remarks.

Her hair is styled in loose waves by Sam McKnight - not James Brown as previously thought - and she appears to have resisted her usual cat eye make-up in favour of a more natural look for the big day, created by Charlotte Tilbury. Her head piece features floral detailing on either side of an off-white headband.

Manolo Blahnik designed a special pair of wedding shoes that include a blue insole as Kate's 'something blue'.

Her new husband Hince shunned traditional dark colours and opted for a light blue Stefano Pilati for YSL suit, giving his ensemble a rock twist with a pair of sunglasses.

The bridal party included 14 young bridesmaids in white chiffon dresses with a gypsy-style neckline and matching ballet pumps, with maid-of-honour, Moss's former casting agent Jess Hallett in a blue Stella McCartney creation.

After posing up for a public shoot outside the church, the couple then got into a waiting Rolls Royce to head back to Moss's £2million Cotswolds home for the first of a three-day reception.

Moss is expected to change into a McCartney oyster silk chiffon dress for her first dance, then a micro mini bodycon dress for the after party and a third Stella creation, a three piece off-white wool suit for her going away outfit, according to Grazia.

Ahead of the ceremony, Moss arrived at the church accompanied by her daughter Lila and father Peter in a silver Rolls Royce.

Kate smiled serenely as her luxury car was driven through the cordoned-off streets, trailed by six other Rolls Royces ferrying the bridal party.

One of the guests, reality TV star Kelly Osbourne was clearly moved by the ceremony.

Disgruntled villagers were pictured being stopped at roadblocks and being redirected this morning by security staff manning the vicinity near the supermodel's property and St Peter's parish church.

A document from Gloucestershire county council reveals that the main road through the small town will be blocked for almost 700 metres, with police redirecting traffic.

Moss and her 42-year-old rocker groom headed to the 17th century, award-winning pub for dinner after attending a rehearsal at the St Peter's parish church in the village.

The pub was voted Best Restaurant in Britain last year by readers of Which? Good Food Guide and is famous for its signature dish, chargrilled 28-day hung Cotswold rib-eye steak with thrice cooked chips.

On Thursday afternoon, Hince and Moss were joined by their bridal party at the Grade II-listed, Norman church for a rehearsal of their ceremony with their vicar Rev Harry MacInnes.

When asked about whether or not he would be officiating recently, Rev MacInnes told the Mail: 'I couldn’t possibly comment. But I do know Kate and she is very much part of our community.'

Spotted outside the church were Moss's actress friend Sadie Frost with her 10-year-old daughter Iris, who is one of the bridesmaids, while her youngest son Rudy, seven, will be a page boy.

Moss and Hince are expected to wed in a Church of England ceremony on Friday afternoon, before retreating to the model's £2million mansion for the first of a three day £500,000 celebration.

Dubbed 'Moss-stock' by some of the locals, the newlyweds are expected to celebrate their nuptials with a festival-style reception lasting the whole weekend.

Party planner Fran Cutler's daughter Mercy, Kate's half-sister from her father Peter's second marriage and artist Jake Chapman and model Rosemary Ferguson’s three children will complete Moss's young attendants.

During the religious ceremony, Hince's sister Sarah and Frost will do readings.
Meanwhile, the huge marquees are already in place for the big event in Moss's extensive back garden.

The entertainment is rumoured to be provided by Iggy Pop, Beth Ditto, Snoop Dogg and Carl Barat - former Libertines bandmate of Moss's ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty.

Among the 300-strong guestlist will be Naomi Campbell, Vivienne Westwood, Stella and Mary McCartney retail tycoon Sir Philip Green, artist Tracey Emin, Rhys Ifans, Jude Law, Jo Wood and Jade Jagger.

Supporting the newlyweds will be Kate's father Peter, her mother Linda and her partner Geoff Collman and Jamie's parents William and Carole.

They always knew the welcome would be warm.

But as they arrived for an official Canada Day show in an open-topped landau, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked simply overwhelmed by the adulation – and the heat.

More than half a million flag waving people crammed the streets of the city – many having travelled hundreds, if not thousands of miles - just to catch a glimpse of the glamorous newly-weds in temperatures of more than 90F.

While many were keen to see the prince, there is little doubt that it is Kate, 29, who is winning their hearts in what is widely considered to be a dress rehearsal for the rest of her public life.

Television channels and newspapers are offering wall to wall coverage of the new Duchess’s charm offensive - and while she insists she doesn’t want to be seen as just a ‘clothes horse’, Kate did not disappoint.

In her first 24 hours on Canadian soil there have no fewer than five different outfits, beginning with the £575 smart navy Smythe les Vestes blazer, Roland Mouret shift and Manolo Bhlanik pumps she sported on leaving Heathrow on Thursday.

This was followed by a blue and cream lace Erdem dress and her much-loved £175 LK Bennett cream pumps for her first two engagements, a visit to the National War Memorial followed by a formal welcome at Government House.

In the evening there was a ‘fun’ BBQ with the cream of Canada’s youth for which Kate rolled out another pair of old favourites, the Issa bird print wrap dress she wore the day before she got married with a pair of Pied a Terre sling back wedge heels.

Today there were another outfit to wow the crowds including another familiar sight, the cream £159 Nanette dress by high street store Reiss that she wore for her engagement portrait. The dress was topped off with a Sylvia Fletcher for Lock and Co hat.

Proudly pinned to the Duchess’s dress was The Queen Mother’s diamond Maple Leaf brooch, given to the late monarch by the people of Canada in 1939 and passed down through a generation of royal women.

She accessorised this time with an on-trend Anya Hindmarch tan and coral clutch, in the shape of a fan.

At the museum, there were 25 people from 14 countries who became Canadian citizens in front of the Royal couple


Her final outfit was to be unveiled overnight at an evening pop and rock concert.

And next week Kate is set to create a stir again when she dons full ‘western’ dress including jeans, shirt and cowboy boot at a rodeo in Calgary.

On their first full day of engagements in Ottawa, the launch pad for their gruelling 11 day tour of Canada and the U.S., the couple attended a Citizenship Ceremony.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper welcomed them to an afternoon program at Parliament Hill as 'the world's most famous newlyweds' and said they represent 'our unbreakable link with our past and our unqualified optimism for the future'.

The Royal couple watched intently while 25 young men and women – from vastly different backgrounds and cultures - became fully-fledged Canadians.

Each took the Oath of Citizenship, professing loyalty to the prince’s grandmother, the Queen.

As each new citizen stepped forward, William presented them with a folded Canadian flag before his wife then handed over a small hand flag.

Then it was off to the official Canada Day celebrations in an open-topped carriage similar to the one the couple used on the way back to Buckingham Palace following their April wedding.

The state landau was built in the 1890s from hand-wrought iron and carved wood. It was bought by Governor General Earl Grey in 1911 for $4,000 and donated to the nation.

But the stifling heat took its toll and Kate’s make-up began to melt. She gestured towards her cheeks and told Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s wife Laureen: ‘I’m just so hot. It’s incredible.’

As they arrived, the crowds - many waving home-made banners saying Canada loves William and Kate - went wild and their reception was akin to a pop concert.

The couple took their places in a VVIP section and watched the two hour show designed to celebrate the nation’s 144th birthday and featured both music and military displays.

William also gave a short speech to thunderous applause and high pitched screams in which he thanked the Canadian people for their welcome.

He talked of his and Kate's family ties to Canada - in French and English, as he had a day earlier.

Prince William said that Kate had learned about Canada from her late grandfather, 'who held this country dear to his heart for he trained in Alberta as a young pilot during the Second World War'.

On his side, he spoke of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. The queen, he said, 'has asked me to convey her warmest good wishes to the people of Canada, and her happy and abiding memories of being on Parliament Hill with Thee Duke of Edinburgh one year ago'.

The prince referred to his grandmother as 'the Queen of Canada,' since she remains Canada's head of state, drawing a loud cheer from the crowd.

He said the queen was watching their Canada tour with interest.

Aides have told the Mail the couple have been ‘thrilled and touched’ by the way in which the country – where the Queen is still head of state – has taken them to their hearts.

‘It’s unbelievable. I don’t any of us expected anything like this,’ they said.

The Duchess of Cambridge paid tribute to Canada today with a red and white outfit for the second day of the Royal Tour.

Wearing a red hat by her favourite milliner Sylvia Fletcher at Lock & Co. sporting the country's national symbol, a maple leaf, Kate attended a citizenship ceremony with her husband Prince William.

She also wore a diamond brooch in the shape of the leaf, borrowed from the Queen.

The Queen, then Princess Elizabeth, wore the brooch during her first visit to Canada in 1951.

As part of the tour, the couple will hand out flags newly minted Canadians at the ceremony during their nine-day visit before jetting off to Los Angeles.

The young prince and his wife have star power to burn and Canadian Heritage Minister James Moore reckons this will be one will be the most-watched royal tour in Canada's history.

Because the singer was sporting a new accidental hair colour.

The 26-year-old songstress debuted a striking strawberry blonde hue to her hair, which for a long time has been dyed jet black, as she introduced her fragrance Purr at Sears in Toronto, Canada.

But it seems as she prepares for the arrival of her first daughter, Victoria is getting some help from husband David with her breathing.

In astonishing new photos, the pair are seen sitting on a birthing ball, with David's hands clasped around Victoria's pregnant tummy.


'What about Gucci?' In another shot set up by celebrity photographer Alison Jackson and featuring lookalike sees 'Victoria and David' discuss names


In another shot, Victoria and David are seen trying to choose from an unusual list of baby names.

With ideas including Benditlike, Gucci and Santa Monica, Victoria clutches a book of 1000 Girl's Names, while David reads America's Favourite Baby Names.

However, as you may have guessed, the pictures aren't actually of the famous couple but instead of lookalikes, set up for a series of pictures taken by celebrity photographer Alison Jackson.

Describing how she sets up for a shot, Jackson said: 'I draw up lists of what is needed, contact the various experts such as wig and clothes-makers, make-up artists and lookalike models - and then work closely with them to achieve the exact look I’m seeking.

Yes, that is sunshine on my local beach in Dublin. It does happen every now and then. It's probably freezing mind, but at least it looks like summer. This is one of the best beaches on the east coast for really getting away from the city - miles of windswept dunes and this pic is about as busy as it gets most of the year. 

I read a post at From Byeline to Finish Line on kite surfing yesterday. Made me realise I haven't posted about this sport even though I see these guys (mostly) in action every time I go to Dollymount.

There's a school based around the beach, so I should make the effort to try it out. Have a fear of re-activating back injuries - aware that makes me sound like a 90-year-old war vet - but how much damage could I do? Have you ever tried this?
